Dr. Robert Lamb is a Louisiana native and is a 1979 graduate of the University of New Orleans, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. From 1979 to 1983, he attended the LSU School of Dentistry, earning the degree of doctor of dental surgery. Upon graduation, Dr. Lamb immediately began military service as a general practitioner with the United States Air Force stationed at Ramstein Air Force Base Germany, from 1983 to 1987.
In 1987, Dr. Lamb was accepted for postgraduate training in orthodontics at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Following completion of this residency, he returned to Louisiana where he practice orthodontics in the New Orleans metropolitan area from 1989 to 1997. During this time period, Dr. Lamb served as base dental surgeon for the Louisiana Air National Guard at Alvin Callender Field in Belle Chase, Louisiana.
From 1997 to 2009, Dr. Lamb continued private orthodontic practice in Fort Collins and Steamboat Springs, Colorado. In December of 2009, Dr. Lamb returned to Germany, this time in a civilian capacity, to serve as the Head of Orthodontics for the Bamberg and Schweinfurt Army Military Communities. During the period 2009-2013, Dr. Lamb was privileged and honored to supervise the orthodontic treatment of soldiers and their families who were posted overseas.
Dr. Lamb is married to Laura Larson Lamb, and together they have four children. He enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking and skiing, loves to travel and has a special interest in travel photography.
